About the book boss

 Hi! I’m Cameo & I am your Proofreader and Editor. I’ve had a love for reading since I was a child… and by ‘love’ I mean 3 books a week, flashlight under the blanket, cover to cover in a night reading. I’m older now -so I don’t have to hide that I stay up all night to read (although the bags under my eyes will tell on me), but my time is still spent lost in a good story. I’m a sassy Grammar Grouch and I appreciate a good cup of tea with my literature.

Why proofreading and editing? The experiences that novels bring can be an escape, a love affair, an adventure, or they can 

touch our souls, and THAT is the magic of reading. I love the idea of helping authors create whole, functioning works to be shared with the world.

I’m Mom to two Gremlins and one of my greatest achievements has been my success with passing along the importance of

 reading. One day we’ll have our own ‘Library of Alexandria’ and my ability to pursue my passion while making a living gets me closer to rolling ladders and floor to ceiling bookcases. 

We’ll get there, one project at a time.
